Our history
Established in Sunshine
Sam Ferraro established the original Ferraro & Company in 1987 as a sole practitioner, with a vision for providing legal services to the local community in Sunshine. An ambitious 27 year-old, Sam was admitted to practise only three years prior, and was already a high achieving solicitor.
Sam continued to excel in the industry and gain a reputation as a valuable community solicitor in Sunshine. Always committed to better serving clients through self-improvement, Sam subsequently completed a Masters in Applied Law majoring in Commercial Litigation in 2019.
Expanding the firm
Sam’s passion for the law was inherited by his daughter, Gabriella Ferraro, who grew up determined to follow in Sam’s footsteps. By 2017, Gabriella was working in the firm as a trainee lawyer. After graduating from university with honours, Gabriella continued her studies while working full-time. She graduated from the College of Law with a Masters degree, majoring in estate planning. It was a proud moment for both Sam and Gabriella when Gabriella became a partner at Ferraro & Company in July 2021.
The firm had also benefited from the arrival of Nanki Kiegaldie, who joined Ferraro & Company Pty Ltd in 2020, offering her experience as a well-established family lawyer.
With a view to the future, Sam, Gabriella, and Nanki then established Ferraro & Singh Lawyers, incorporating Ferraro & Company. Sam, Gabriella, and Nanki continue to be the managing partners of the company.

Supporting our Community
Our Pro Bono Practice is driven by our principal solicitors. Focusing on assisting vulnerable Victorians in their time of need, we are a proud member of both the Victorian Cancer Council and the Westjustice Community Legal Centre. Since 2020, we have set a target of offering more than 100 hours of pro bono legal services per year and proudly surpass this goal annually.
